By working with our clients, you will be assigned to certain construction sites, you will be responsible for tasks related to the position of foreman for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial projects.

In collaboration with the project manager and/or the superintendent, the incumbent will be responsible for the execution of carpentry work for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial projects. More specifically, he will have to supervise the workforce on building construction sites in accordance with the rules of the trade and the quality standards of the company. Here is the summary of tasks:
-Conduct site meetings and ensure worker attendance;
-Act as a liaison between the project managers and the workers in order to carry out the work on time and according to the Company’s standards;
-Intervene with workers to maintain a harmonious work climate and maintain constant performance;
-Perform quality checks and report any discrepancies to the project manager;
-Coordinate labor and subcontracting to maximize site efficiency;
-Ensure that the site is safe and intervene firmly to correct situations that could endanger the health and safety of workers;
-Provide technical support to workers in the interpretation of plans and specifications;
-Welcome and integrate each worker on the site;
-Write reports and make daily reports;
-Perform any other related tasks related to the position.
-Possess mobilizing leadership;
-Demonstrate professionalism and tact;
-Collaborate with other shifts;
-Have 5 to 8 years of construction experience;
-Have 2 years of experience in construction labor management;
-Experience in large-scale projects an asset;
-Possess a journeyman carpenter-joiner competency certificate;
-Be open-minded and results-oriented.
